CHARMWRAPS! Synthetic hair wraps and extensions
Easy clip-on synthetic hair extensions for instant flair in mane or tail! Either YOUR hair or your HORSE’S!
Simply hold the clip in both hands and bend until open, lift a layer of hair where you want the extension to sit, slide the clip’s comb teeth securely in the hair and bend back to close. If the clip won’t close, you’ve got too much hair in it! Then let the top layer of hair fall over the clip to hide it.
CARE of your synthetic hair extensions:
These hair extensions for horses or humans are made of ‘premium-ized’ (fluffed up) synthetic hair and should not be exposed to heat such as curling irons, hot dryers, etc. because they will melt. They can be wiped clean with warm water, but do not get the metal clips wet! Let the hair air dry before storing.
Store the extensions rolled in cotton cloth where they can lay flat and not be folded, or they will get a permanent crease where the fold is.
It’s very important to handle the extension carefully so they are not dropped or get caught on sharp objects. If they have a lot of static, take a dryer fabric softener sheet and run it down the length of the extension.
The best way to straighten tangles in the hair is to carefully comb the length with your fingers. If a little more straightening is needed, the extensions can be brushed gently with a wire brush only, such as those used in pet grooming. Lay the extension on a table or against your body and hold the clip tightly in one hand. Starting at the bottom of the extension, gently brush the tangles down and out, then move up the extension until the whole length is straightened.
If the length is too long for your taste, simply trim with scissors from the bottom in a tapered V pattern so they’ll look more natural.
These hair extension/wraps are for decorative use only and should never be left on a horse if unattended! Not for children under 5 years old.
